Privacy policy

What we collect

This website is a static site. It has no forms, no accounts and no sign-in. You cannot type anything into it, so it never asks you for your name, email address or phone number. The only information connected to you is the usage data described in the cookies section below, and it is collected only in the ways described there.

Cookies we use

Two kinds, and only two.

• Essential. One first-party cookie named dusams_consent. It stores your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every visit. It holds only the word granted or denied, and it expires after 180 days.
• Analytics. Google Analytics cookies, which measure which pages are visited and how visitors reach them. These are set only after you choose Accept in the banner. If you choose Reject, or choose nothing, Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookie is set.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It uses no cookies, does not identify you and does not follow you across sites, which is why it runs without asking for consent.

Where analytics data goes

If you accept analytics cookies, the usage data is processed for us by Google. Google processes this data on its own servers, which are outside India. This happens only after you consent, and stops when you withdraw consent.

How to withdraw consent

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. It reopens the banner so you can change your answer at any time. Choosing Reject stops Google Analytics immediately.

Your rights under the DPDP Act 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct or erase it
• withdraw consent as easily as you gave it
• raise a grievance with the officer named below
• complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our answer
